Hi I'm Izzy

I worked at The Green Man for 10 months whilst on placement at a local agricultural company, as part of my university course. Thriplow is a lovely village, and very friendly, so working at The Green Man was a great way to get to know everyone quickly.

I ran The Green Man's beer tent during daffodil weekend which was a lot of fun, and enjoyed learning about / tasting all the constantly changing real ales on tap at the pub.

I am delighted to be returning to work again this summer... Yeah, love The Green Man!!!

Hi I'm Charlie

I worked at The Green Man for several months during the summer holidays.

I love working with people so really enjoyed all of the customer interaction. I met some amazing people, and learnt some great new skills in the process.

FOOD

Our menu at the Green Man may be small, but it is seasonal, daily changing, and contains lots to get excited about. All of our dishes are cooked to order and the menu changes everyday to fit in what we can source from our suppliers.

Our aim is to deliver truly great British pub food. Good, honest ingredients, executed well, to create a menu worth talking about, and returning for.

DRINK

We are known for our variety and high standard of real ales, but that's not all we're pouring.

We have one premium lager and cider on tap, as well as many other bottled options.

If beer is not your thing... we have a small but well thought out wine list, and get a kick out of making a cocktail or two, so there is something to suit any whim or fancy.
